Team talk

The Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team having a team talk during the Dundee All-Stars Timeout. That was after the Blaze had come back from one nil down in the first period to equalise and then score twice in less than a minute.

A great game tonight - The Blaze played much better that we have seen recently. A couple of games they have played well in one or two periods but tonight the team turned up an played well in all three. It was quite an open match, and even though there were a few penalties, it was a free flowing match with few stoppages. On play lasted for over five minutes without a break - very unusual.

Two players, Ryan Ginand and Cale Tanaka both get the crowd buzzing when they are on the puck. Both are quick and squeeze through gaps where water wouldn't. Tanaka tonight received both the accolade of player of the month for February and man of the match tonight. He works hard - a just reward. Well done.

Thanks tonight to Pete, our neighbour, who not only sponsors one of the players but also won a box for tonights match. He kindly donated it for us to use and also to some of his workers at the factory he runs with his brothers. Pete - You're a star!
