Emerson Chambers

Books may be cheaper online these days but I still prefer a walk into town to Waterstones to browse through all the latest books on display.
This Waterstones is housed in one of my favourite buildings in Newcastle.

The Emerson Chambers is a beautiful and grand building, which was designed by Benjamin Simpson in 1903. It was originally a restaurant and offices but has been a book shop for many years now.
