MONOMONDAY : Architecture...

.... Another Monday Challenge with Hobbs's Run, and in his style, put a "slant" on the MONOMONDAY this week asking for architecture!

Well, around Penrith we have some very OLD structures as well as the NEW!

Finally decided on this one which is a New South Wales Government built building near our railway station. Housing many differing Government Departments, it came after the first real "Hi-rise" built in Penrith. This was the "new" one taken.

It is the Australian Government Tax Office and standing at some 48 metres tall, can be seen from most areas surrounding our suburb!
Some would say "BIG Daddy" looking over us!

The OLD is an original cottage built in Warwick Street Penrith - this street has many of these wonderful old designs and commands high real estate value due also being right in CBD, and large blocks.

I decided to take some "poetic licence" on the "brief" with this , but for your interest here is what it LOOKS LIKE.

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE.
