Katoomba Skyline

I have been meaning to stop and photograph this for years, but MonoMonday has given me the impetus.
This perspective is seen from the highway, or in my case, above the carpark adjacent to the highway.
I'm not sure why I like it so much.
It's a conglomeration of shops, boarding houses and hotels, most probably dating from early last century.
The Carrington's chimney is still dominant, though not as much as it would have been a hundred years ago.

I prefer it in colour and will return when it's misty.
