Bean Geese

A flock of them flew over Rantamo in the morning but they didn´t land because most of the water is still covered with ice.

In the afternoon I talked with a elder man who has observed birds at Rantamo for tens of years. He said he had seen never before spring coming so early as this year. Wagtails, black-headed gulls, skylarks, fieldfares. Normally they come to Rantamo a month later.
And last year was the latest spring he have ever seen.
