Wednesday 25 November 2009: More rain
Things have got desperate. We're all looking out of the office window saying things like "I'm sure it's getting a bit brighter out there" and "is that a bit of blue sky".
It isn't surprising to find optimism in the offices of startup companies, but I think this is taking it too far.
It is not getting brighter. There is no blue sky. The sky is leaden grey and may well stay that way until January, and I can pretty much guarantee that it will still be chucking it down when we all have to walk home later.
Welcome to winter in Scotland. Remind me why I came home from Egypt?
