Tantalising Tortoiseshells

Wonderful weather today apart from that wind! Walking around the grassed front grounds of County Hall the insect life was stirring big time. A few bees whizzing around, flies and quite a few Small Tortoiseshells, including a couple of pairs flirting like crazy. I tried for many shots but in that wind they were far too skittish - I so nearly managed a shot of a pair together a couple of times, but the courting couples didn't want to know. lol
This single kindly settled on the Berberis Darwinii long enough to save the day!
