Seasonal Slog

March to Spring

march resolute,
measured tread cold
parading in place
no turning back now
storming to spring

We escaped without mountains of snow. It's falling but not for the length or depth that swallowed the north country. Early this morning there was only an icy skiff, it's picked up a bit now after I've gotten home from the train run. The temperatures are frigid and will not budge today on our long seasonal slog to spring.


For the Record,
This day came in with a coating of snow and temperatures that dropped below freezing from warmth of yesterday.
