pairing plate

Dinner in the city with Mum and T.
New on the menu is the Food and Wine Pairing Plate and both M and I could not resist!
A lot of meat mind you but in small enough portions to be manageable accompanied by a variety of goodies such as soubise and pea fricassee, aubergine puree, onion marmalade and beetroot crisps.
Three selected reds one for each meaty morsel.

Oh and left to right:
Roasted quail breast (Pinot Noir), Slow cooked Moroccan lamb (Shiraz) and Charred beef fillet mignon (Cab Sauv).

Veg curry tonight :)
