Class 450 SWT Desiro Farnham Station

The level crossing at the London end of Farnham Station stops traffic every half hour for some time as the timetable crosses trains at the station. This was happening on Monday morning.

Farnham station was opened on 8 October 1849, on the L&SWR route from Guildford via Ash Green and Tongham.

The line from Aldershot station opened in 1870 and was electrified on 4 July 1937. Passenger services via Ash Green Halt and Tongham ceased on the same date.
