Tasting notes

Today I attended an orange wine tasting. Orange wine you may ask? Well ... orange wine is when wine made from white wine grape varieties that have spent some maceration time in contact with the grape skins, resulting in an orange hue ... and a very different bouquet and taste.

These are J's tasting notes from the session. Needless to say he will not be rushing out to buy a case of orange wine very soon! However, the event took place in a great little bar and they provided excellent nibbles to take away the taste of complement the wine
