The Saltire Trail

I took off today to visit Trabroun.

We headed to see the Start of the Saltire Trail from Athelstaneford to Haddington, in East Lothian. We arrived as they took off on horseback with their saltires furled, so they wouldn't scare the horses and were followed by many on foot.

It was perishingly cold, so hats off to them all, including the horses.

A full day of entertainment, was planned in Haddinton, with the First Minister attending an evening service, then the final concert, by Dougie McLean to round it all off.

No we didn't stay, too much lunching and shopping to do.

It's a hard life being a girl. ( In my dreams ).
