Tuesday 1 December 2009: First frost
First proper frost here today I think.
I took my bike out for a ride at 6 this morning and, while it didn't feel too bad (mind you, I was wearing 4 layers on top, a balaclava, cloves gloves and two pairs of socks!), it was cold enough to freeze my gear and brake cables solid which was a bit of a pain. I think they must still have water in them from the very wet ride on Sunday morning.
This is the frost on the roof of our car. It has a slightly Rothko feel about it?
