Pearl Spotted Owlet..........

What a lovely surprise this morning when I pulled the curtains to find this lovely little owl sitting on my washing line! The picture was taken through the window and is not quite in focus but by the time I got outside he had gone! Its the first time I have had an owl in my garden.

When I showed it to the Malawians they were not happy as they believe that owls are associated with witchcraft and are said to carry messages for witches!!!

And I just thought he was a lovely little bird!! Have a great weekend!
