Tuesday 1 December 2009: Sunny day
A lovely sunny day with rain expected in the afternoon.
We paid a visit to the beautiful Kings Park Botanical Gardens and later on took a stroll through the CBD of Perth.
The latter is graced with many parks, clean streets, fine restaurants and impressive buildings, not only skyscrapers but many old places from years gone by.
On the left hand side of the image is Indianas, a well known restaurant at Cottesloe Beach, close to Fremantle.
This place came into the spotlight during Heath Ledger's funeral when friends and family gathered there to say their last farewells.
The rain did not come.
