Next Crop - Houses

This is the field behind our house. It has been planted – probably with barley – but we have noticed it is not thriving and the field is going brown. We heard, a while back, that a developer has at last been given permission to build on this field, after the Council rejected the original planning application. Something has been going on in the field this week – we’re not sure what. Anyway it looks like the barley is not being tended and will not be harvested this year. The next crop will be houses.
