Project Shower

After a number of months with a malfunctioning mixer shower unit, today finally marked the installation of a replacement. It required much hammering in the loft to enable the old copper pipes to be removed from inside the partition wall, to then feed new pipes back down again (NB: new shower connectors stuck out too far with the existing pipes).
So, with new stop taps and shower installed, including a good amount of silicon sealant to make doubly sure it won't leak or need doing again in a hurry, the new shower is in. Will probably leave it a few days for the silicon to properly cure, but hopefully it will be good to go.
My reward for doing this (with assistance from Helen's dad), plus cleaning the entire shower cubicle... "those shirts need ironing..." No rest for the wicked!
