MonoMonday: portrait

i was fortunate enough to capture this portrait of my stepdad-in-law, Chet. i prefer "unposed" portraits of people doing what they normally do in the course of their day. Chet happened to be sitting his chair and looked up as i pressed the shutter. i love shooting older people. they have so much character in their faces and often tell a story through their natural expressions. Chet has gone through a lot in life and has taught me much about love, patience, kindness and perseverance. Thanks Chet! You are truly a blessing in my life!
