History. Lumix GX1, Leitz Elmar-V 65mm, BellowsII

My late father was in the U.K. specializing as a radiologist when WWII broke out.  Instead of returning to his native South Africa, he signed up for military service with the British Army.  He was drafted to the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Lieutenant. When he was demobbed in 1945 or 1946, his rank had risen to that of Major.  Today's BLIP is of the R.A.M.C. insigne from his uniform.  One was displayed on each jacket lapel.
