Friday 4 December 2009: In the morning light

I had a call in the early hours of the morning to be told my father was very ill and in hospital in Stockport.

I made the decision to drive up first thing but around an hour ago got the message that he'd passed away.

Much coffee needed to get me up the M6.

I may spare you from what else I photograph today.
