Friday 4 December 2009: Decorations
It is time.
It is time to take that annual crawl into the attic to retrieve our.....decorations.
Decorations filled with warm memories and years and years of nostalgia. Heaving and hauling those bins out will all be worth it in the end. Decorations make everything feel so warm and cozy and wintry.
Today's blip showcases ornaments that have been hung on a tree in a neighboring yard. I almost called this blip, "Bold", "Daring", or "Living on the Edge" because I did something that I have wanted to do ever since I spotted these beauties a couple of days ago. I walked on over to their yard, prayed to my sweet God that no one was home (due to the fact that I have never met the owners), and got for a few snapshots. I would have loved to play around with a few more angles but figured I shouldn't push my luck.
Maybe I will be tempted to return again.........
