Agricultural college

Today was an open day at the local college - the day was sunny and warm and it was easy to imagine how wonderful it must be to learn and practise horticulture in such beautiful surroundings... They had some impressive glasshouses full of plants waiting for better planting weather and had produced some interesting designs to commemorate 70 years of the D-Day landings (the college is very near Arromanche where the remains of the Mulberry Harbour still in evidence).
