DDW Challenge: stillicide - drips of rain

My first thought was to get a note from my mum, asking DDW to excuse me from today’s challenge on the grounds that there was no rain dripping from my eaves. No rain dripping from anything. Not only that, it’s been a long day. Up at 5.00am (which was really 4.00am as the clocks went forward) to zoom down to Heathrow to collect Chris and Emma from their trip to Australia.

As ever, Anniemay came to the rescue and danced around on the lawn for half-an-hour or so until, by some miracle, drops of water appeared on the eaves of the summerhouse. So much so in fact, that this old woodpecker, in an attempt to slake his thirst, hung around a bit too long and is now starting to go rusty.
