"i'm speaking another language now!"

this czechslovakian little boy helped rosie and i light our barbeque at the beach tonight. being girls it was a bit of a struggle, of course, and he helped by giving us pointers such as "put the wood in there" and "this is a good stick."

apparently five year olds are schooled in the art of lighting fires, no such luck with eighteen year old girls. shame we couldn't take him and use him when other such troubles arise.

when he ran off, he started speaking in czech, turned back to us and said "i'm speaking another language now!" too cute.
