Raining in a water sculpture

Another rainy day on the Southbank, but we still went for an adventure. I snapped F and a visiting friend in 'Appearing Rooms' on the Royal Festival Hall Terrace. The umbrellas don't stop you getting wet if you misjudge when to travel between the 'rooms'! F was almost drenched - the umbrella almost became a shower head as several fountains of water whooshed suddenly up to hit its underside, but F jumped back just in time.

The adventure led us to a Mexican restaurant, then to wear pink cowboy hats at Gay Pride in Leicester Square and finally to see the hilarious production of 'The 39 Steps' at the Criterion Theatre. It rained the whole time, and we didn't care!
