YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE

The quality of money is not ‘strained!
Money’s the field whereon life’s game is played.
It calms and comforts when we feel dismayed,
Reminder of success that on us rained.
When life gives lemons, money’s lemonade!
It quenches thirsting for a good account,
Showing, when greedy for a vast amount
Of gold and silver, interest well repaid.
Money buys land, and land produces money!
We gaze upon our properties with joy,
Tasting what money’s sweetness cannot cloy.
We salivate as does a bear for honey.
We clink our coins and rub, hold to fond eye,
Clench tightly in our hands, and then we die.
