Curling up with a book

When all you've seen outside today is drippy, dreich weather with flat light and no views... it's time for the last thing at night emergency book blip.

Reading this slowly to savour the writing. I loved "The History of Love" by the same author. And for once I'm reading something which is not a book group book, although only because I've resigned from one of my book groups due to family pressures.
