Tiny Taddies-to-be

Our tadpoles are making good progress, the little black dots are elongating, now have distinct head and tail ends. This is the spawn that was laid in the tadpool, though the rescued spawn is at much the same stage.

I decided that the frog in the weed-quarantine bucket might not have been able to find the escape ramp we left so, though it wasn't keen, I fished it out and it disappeared into the leaf litter before I could get the camera on it. If that ignominy has not deterred it from our humble abode it now has the choice of the pond, an occupied tadpool or returning to its bucket.
