Walks and Theatre

Had a very busy day, starting with a walk around the Rodean Valley and ending with an evening at the Brighton Dome to hear the author David Sedari read excerpts from his books and diaries. You may already have read in this journal that I love the way he writes, finding his irreverent humour laugh aloud funny. However, I have to say that, although it takes a lot to shock me, I winced at some of the content of the show. Some of his jokes certainly pushed all the boundaries. However, he did have a wonderful stage presence and, on balance, we agreed it was a great night.
