At Brampton Abbots: Dad and Tiger......x

Tiger has everyone wrapped around his little finger...(or paw).

Every evening, he trails along on the walk around the fields. He's a real dog-cat, walking much like the dog and as far as the dog actually. The problem is, that some people that are not used to the dog - cat. They take pity on the dog-cat, watching him saunter behind the pack. When we slow down to take notice of something, or look down a badger hole, he collapses on the ground nearby.

I already know the deceptive trickery of the dog-cat. He's hoping for a ride home. For someone to take pity on his small legs. I know different. I have seen him bound past. Bounding paws thundering up behind. This cat picks his pace. He knows what he is up to. He ambles slowly conserving energy, then hops into the next field and bounds past. He never fails to return home before the pack. This evening, he conserved his energy alright. He hitched a ride with Dad. No wonder he's smiling......x
