Occasionally Focused

Down the Row

Apple picking in Bilpin today. Not the most economical way to buy apples - unless you were to buy heaps, and perhaps not even then - but fun, and obviously the apples are fresh.

I hardly focused the camera all day; set it to 30 feet, and it seems to work well for many situations - at anything f/5.6 or smaller, at least. Unmetered throughout too.

Soligor 1:2.8/35mm on Pentax K-30. I think I was at f/8.

I'm pleased with this of Missy - I just twisted the focus ring to a little over 10 feet, aimed vaguely towards her and her brother, and clicked.

I'm seriously liking this lens.

ps - she's not actually upset or grumpy; just mid-expression. ;)
