Bright light

We have had a wonderfully relaxing day. A leisurely trip to Bowmore and then lunch on the beach in the sunshine. We then headed out to Kilchoman later for a walk on the big beach. The sun was glistening on the water beautifully. On the way back the sky ahead darkened and a rainbow appeared. The contrast between the dark sky and the sunlit fields was amazing, as if nature's very own saturation button had been pressed.

In other news, we saw Sovereign Prince Albert of Monaco last night (in the bar). I was expecting to see him with his wife and maybe a couple of bodyguards, all very low key, but he had quite an entourage with him and they were all bedecked in tartan! It was similar to a scene out of Brigadoon. The funny thing is that Mr Q looks a wee bit similar to His Serene Highness and there was a chap in the bar who kept taking photos of him. I'm sure Mr Q would have worn his kilt if he'd known!
