Nesting

The swans were spending time building a new nest today. It was sad last year as their eggs never hatched despite the pen spending many weeks on the nest. This year they have moved the nest a few feet further into the water. Let's hope that it's a lucky spot.

I spent the day with Will repairing the fence making it Poppy proof! This involved lots of galvanised mesh and digging a small trench to bury it under the fence!
