Megamouth!

We spent the day shooting both ends of Crummock Water today - overcast at first, with calm water and reflections, we then had rain (for a few hours) but that cleared away early afternoon, and the end part of the afternoon was excellent.

The water was flowing over the weir with some force, and I was fascinated by the patterns they were forming. So with ISO 2500 and a 1/2000th sec, I experimented with a few shots.

Loved the way this wave seemed to produce a huge gaping mouth, ready to swallow you up.

I also liked a bizarre diving mask that I found along the lane, so put that one on Flickr.
