Enough already

The good news is that the thick cloud cover has now returned, blocking out the sun.

This is fortunate, because one of the side effects of mumps is sensitivity to sunlight. And our daughter has just been diagnosed with mumps. The brave face I’ve been telling her to put on for the last few days is now twice the size it should be.

I think this holiday has gone on for long enough now.
