On a whim.

We were downtown, again, when "one-of-us" spotted a banner informing the world at large of a
"Garden Festival" from 29th Mar to 6th Apr. and a
"Plant Fair" on the 29th & 30th Mar at Lowther Castle.

"Go on, lets have a look out." So we did. ... Mistake, could have come back with a ruptured bank: and escaped with the aid of Will Power.

It's hard to think of this place over run by soldiers, or with the roof, intentionally ripped off and left, or infested by a chicken farm: but it has had a chequered career which I must pursue sometime in the not too distant future.

We did the plant fair bit, but reckoned we'd wait for more to wake up B4 we did the gardens proper.

BTW anybody in the Leicester area, it is NOT pronounced "Low Thair" as a friend of ours used to: the Low bit rhymes with having a row with your wife, not with being low on the Totem, with ther rhyming with "her".
