evening on the terrace

Oh what a day.
First we heard from the girl that she is ill and had spent all of yesterday in A&E with strange griping pains and intense nausea, so didnt make her flight to Cork so we wont be seeing her tomorrow after all. Very sad and slightly worrying.

Then what should have been a straightforward task turned into a complicated one and needed four of us to get it done in the time allowed.
But it was good to see how well everyone worked together, proper teamwork.

Then I got called away as himself had something weird going on in one eye. It was a long wait to see the doctor but then he confirmed what I had feared - a suspected retinal detachment - so we have to head off to A&E first thing in the morning.

Then I had to reorganise my plans for tomorrow which meant missing the Camera club outing to Long Strand tonight, and only had time to grab this quick shot from the terrace this evening.

But at least the day was dry.
