Bill, late of Milton Keynes, created many public artworks, mainly large scale sculptures like the dinosaur at Peartree Bridge, involving young people in the process. He also worked with prisoners. He was awarded an MBE and an honorary doctorate at the Open University. He was a member of the SAS for most of his adult life. He had many, many friends and admirers and is sorely missed.

This is one of his prolific output of paintings and drawings.
