Solway oyster beds

Another day at the coast, but the tides weren't as kind as a couple of weeks back. By the time the tide had receded enough to reveal these oyster beds, we had precious little time left!

I literally ran across the beach to get three minutes by these. This was taken with Lee Filters little stopper - a 6 stop ND filter - which gave me a 2 1/2 second exposure - long enough to remove some texture, but short enough to retain some detail in the waves.
