Colours beat black and white

Today I took two pictures with the blip in mind. The first I liked because of it's form, but since it was snow on a pavement, it was rather dull otherwise. The second I liked because of it's colours, and that one is the blip of the day. The wonderful meal my husband made for dinner tonight.
P.S. I would have arranged the food more beautifully on my plate, had I just thought of it before I took the picture ;)
