Quiet Blipper

By Islandcat

Ahhh...

Here on the Island today. Arrived around noon from Sidney. 4 large bags of peat moss still in the car and somehow lots of other things. Food, clothes, clean laundry coming back, 2 small myrica californicusor bayberry. Anyway, we are still on the hunt for fast growing, drought resistant, hardy, deep proof (right) plants for a rocky hillside Have a few to plant now to try. Spent the afternoon in the sun on the edge of "what will be our garden" , felling an old gnarly alder that threatened to fall on everything we are trying to nurture and save. We did it! These are my roses holding lots of promise for pretty blooms.
