rainbow from the door

Holiday day 3 (backblip)
Walked from the cottage today going to Danby, Castleton, Danby, Dale, Botton and back over Danby Rigg. It was a very mixed walk - woods, fields, common, moors - mainly cloudy with patches of sunshine, and a brisk wind. (about 10miles)
Soon after we got back it began to rain and as I was making the tea the sun came out making this wonderful rainbow. It did go right round but I wasn't able to get shoes on in time to get down the drive a bit to capture that.
There were also nice lighting effects on the trees with the low sun.
So, although this was only a fragment of the day, it was the most memorable part of it.
