Nesting

Today, I have been mostly sitting on a tractor mower ... one of the drawbacks of summer ...

Later I nipped out to refuel the combi with Uranium 232* in the local filling station / nuclear arms dealers and spotted this hen blackbird on top of a wall with nesting materials in her beak.

The lawn is spotless ... well there weren't many spots on it at the beginning, but it is like a billiard table ... apart from a lack of pockets, no green baize and no coloured balls ... in fact nothing like a billiard table ...
But you get the picture.

The plancha is in place and ready for the summer - that was a good job done and I repaired a 2nd dishwasher salt tank, that we have with fiberglass left over from a boat I built a few years ago - it works!

The weather over the next few days is going to be scorchio, which is good news too - hope the grass doesn't grow too quickly though - but there are small cherries on the cherry tree which will be glad of the sun!
