Waiting for the tide to turn.

A beautiful day today, so we've been up the Northumberland coast to Craster.
It's a little village on the edge of the sea, where lots of boats brought in their catch each day. Sadly there are only about four boats now, which are used to catch crabs and lobsters. This one seemed ready, and its pots were waiting higher up the bay, but the tide needed to come in before it could set sail. It must be a hard way to earn a living.
After a good walk up to Dunstanburgh Castle, we went to the local pub for crab sandwiches. A great day out.
