The Cat Pose

Tonight in Life Class we got to choose what pose we wanted our male model, Gary, to adopt. ( No he is not naked since you ask- he had his trousers on).

Well, I opted for The Cat Pose, a popular yoga position. He had to hold it for five minutes, not bad for someone who had never done yoga before.

It looks as if weekly Life Drawing is going to be available every Wednesday in Marcelle House, the new artistic hub in Alloa, thanks to Karen Strang.

An even more difficult pose he had to hold was the Crucifixion one- now that really did test his stamina, especially as this was the first time he had ever modelled in a Life Class.
Well I hope we didn't put him off with all our demands.
