Pace Eggs

My birthday today and as Postie was busy at work, I spent it doing exactly what I wanted to do! Ollie and I went to the beach for a good blowy walk this morning, in the sunshine but also a few hailstones!

Later I decided to make pace eggs. I've blipped them before, initially here. Basically eggs are wrapped in flowers and onion skins, then tied up in cloth and boiled. Traditionally they were then rolled down hills at Easter.

Lovely neighbour brought round lemon meringue pie, so that was pudding sorted!
