Final frantic morning at work before I met up with a school friend from too many years ago arriving for her first visit to Edinburgh. We did a tour of a few of the tourist sights...this is her in the graveyard of Greyfriars church being ghostly...
Home for an enormous home made fish pie (first time I've cooked in what feels like weeks) then we struggled with the various bits of a/v equipment cast off by the kids to try and play a DVD....couldn't work out how to plug the various wires in or which controls to use. Very frustrating! Ended up have to Skype Mt in San Francisco to ask him how to work it. Something very funny about having him tell me which wires to plug where from the other side of the world. The frustrations (and the wonders!) of technology!
