Gillipaw's Journal

By Gillipaw

Pollok House, Glasgow

Situated beside the White Cart River in Pollok Country Park. It is the ancestral home of the Maxwell Family. Designed by William Adam, building began in 1752. It was gifted to the City of Glasgow in the 1960s, and is now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland.

A walk here late in the day, with low golden sunlight showing off the building rather well.
