The artist and the band

I’m used to cameras and phones at gigs, and sometimes tablets, but I’ve never before watched an artist paint live music. He started with splashes of colour, in time to the music, and gradually the forms appeared. Entrancing. When he’d finished, Merlin introduced himself.

Much more interesting to watch than cameras in action and a huge amount less irritating than the person in front of you videoing the whole thing on a tablet.
