A simple act of kindness

The lady who lives near to me gave me cuttings from her succulent collection after I helped her tie up a large plant that had blown down in the wind. She said I needed something growing outside my door to welcome people - how thoughtful and kind of her. So here is my fledgling succulent garden! Early days yet, it puts a smile on my face whenever I arrive home.

Your greatness is measured by your kindness; your education and intellect by your modesty; your ignorance is betrayed by your suspicions and prejudices, and your real caliber is measured by the consideration and tolerance you have for others.
